What it means in practice
Coverage varies by jurisdiction and may extend to recognizable personal attributes or commercial impersonations. Permission for a photograph or video can involve both copyright in the asset and publicity rights belonging to the depicted person.

A brand can have access to an image while still needing consent to use the person's identity in advertising.

A creator agreement authorizes the brand to use the creator's name and likeness in specified campaign materials.
