Product Collaboration
A limited edition item or collection developed jointly by a brand and a creator and marketed together.
What it means in practice
The creator may contribute to product design, naming, packaging, promotion, or audience insight under a negotiated agreement. Contracts typically define approvals, intellectual property, compensation, production commitments, inventory, claims, and sell-through responsibilities.
Why it matters
Teams must determine whether the creator's involvement and commercial terms justify the operational and inventory commitment.
How it is used
The brand and creator approve a limited product line, produce launch content, and coordinate sales messaging across both channels.
